Behind the Fence…
It all started in the early 2000s, somewhere along the winding turns of the Tour de Corse. I was just a kid, camera in hand, heart racing to the rhythm of the engines… and next to me, my father — just as passionate about photography and motorsport. A legacy, a feeling, a tradition — passed down through a viewfinder.
Since then, the smell of hot asphalt, the deep growl of engines, and the frenzied pulse of the paddock have never left me.
📸 My eye, my signature
What am I chasing in every shot? The perfect panning. That delicate line between motion and stillness. That suspended moment where you can still feel the breath of the car flying past. I love to freeze motion without ever killing its energy.
And yes, I’ll admit it — I’m ruthlessly demanding. If an image isn’t razor-sharp, if the tension isn’t just right… it goes straight to the trash. Even if “it’s good enough” for most. Some say I nitpick. I say I honor every image like a tribute — to the driver, the machine, the moment.
🛠 My hunting grounds
Le Mans feels like a second home. I have my routines there, my favorite corners, those magic hours when the light brushes the bodywork like a promise. I blend into the scene, I anticipate, I adapt. And sometimes, I catch myself giving tips to other fans — showing them how to shoot around the fences…
It was actually there, one day, that a spectator asked me where he could find my photos. A simple question… and a powerful trigger. Why keep all of this to myself?
🚦 What I’m chasing
I don’t claim to be a photography genius. But I do know one thing: I want to live this passion fully. And maybe, someday, step beyond the fence — with an official media pass in hand. That would be more than just recognition. It would be a childhood dream come true.
Until then? I shoot. I share. And I push myself to improve.
Why trust me? Because I never compromise — not on sharpness, not on emotion, and never on my love for motorsport.
